Gingerbread Dogs

Yum! We are very lucky

Nicola and her mother made delicious Gingerbread Dogs for us to have at morning tea. Nicola made the icing and decorated the biscuits. She also used small silver balls for eyes and chains.
Thank you!

Transit of Venus

We were able to see Venus using our sun viewing glasses - thank you to Susan from the Dunedin Observatory who delivered the glasses at short notice. We all marveled at how small Venus is.

This is photo taken by a family in the class from their telescope. Look for the small black dot in the bottom left of the sun.
